However, i've always wanted to install Ubuntu on it. The entire sequence for fear of messing something else up.I have a 2018 MacBook Pro with Touch Bar running macOS Catalina. Hopefully, it will work for you! I think the above listed steps are accurate, but they might be just a touch off or something. I'm not really a computer guy, but I just kept trying various options and this is the one that worked for me. I reinstalled the 64-bit and then tested my sound and it works!!! Open the main folder, then the drivers folder and find the correct driver for your sound and reinstall. Download the bootcamp onto a FAT32 formatted flashdrive, then expand all the files.Ħ. Click on that version link from within the grid and it takes you to the appropriate download page.ĥ. The grid will identify which version of Bootcamp your computer requires.Ĥ. Click on the link that identifies your computer and a grid will open that shows the various Mac models and operating systems. Go about halfway down that page and select which computer you have. Thanks for your help in advance! I'm kinda a basic-level computer guy, so any help is greatly appreciated!Ģ. I now seem to have 1 High Definition Audio Device driver, and 3 NVIDIA High Definition Audio drivers. To the NVIDIA drivers, and the other High Def Driver did not update. Both of the NVIDIA drivers said they were up to date, one of the High Definition Audio Device drivers updated The system originally listed 4 drivers: 2 each High Definition Audio Device, and 2 each NVIDIA High Definition Audio. I have no error message or exclamation mark for the devices Ran the Windows Audio Troubleshooter, which found nothing wrong

My audio drivers are: High Definition Audio Device & NVIDIA High Definition Audio Then I installed Total Defense Premium Internet Security (Firewall, virus/malware protection, etc) I then completed all Windows updates until it finally said I was up to date. I just had Apple Genius Bar install Bootcamp with a 40GB Partition. I can't get sound from my speakers, or mini-audio plug, but I can get sound through my adapter to HDMI to my TV.
